Can we defend against teams that are playing catch-up style

It was no surprise that the Cows would wait until 20 minutes to go and then pile on the pointsThey have been doing it all year, but why couldn't we stop them?Similar thing has happened before - eg knights last yearOther teams seem to know how to maintain possession and slow the play downIt is also obvious that on 5th tackle in our 20 that JT was going to get the ball - where was Pauli?

When teams play off the cuff footy we struggle, one one one tackling is poor and we cannot wrap up the ball. Last week Penrith killed us with offloads, which has happened a lot in the past, but last night we just got steamrolled for 3 plays, then they made a break out wide, then put in a kick on 5th and scored 3 times. We defended them fine until they threw the ball around and spread it on early tackle counts.

  maybe after the refereeing last week we were too scared to try to put work in the tackle to get a dropped ball
  Or to (legally) target JT - knowing that the ball was going to him
