Along the same lines Northern Beaches Eel has been suggesting/asking of us.....
Can we (1eyed members) go just 5 days (until Thursdays night game v Manly) with no negative copy/paste media articles or negative blogs being STARTED about the club, personal or speculation about the salary cap investigation?
I for one, would love 5 days of us all talking about how well the team is going (currently 3rd on the ladder) and positive commentary leading up to a big clash against Manly at Brookvale oval on Thursday night.
Aren't we all sick of the constant negative shit being posted and so often is just rehashed crap from the paper?
Think about it.... if we can all commit to it (5 days), and negative blogs keeping being STARTED it's pretty easy to identify who the trolls are (not that it's difficult to name most of them now)

Bert i understand your sentiments but this site has never been a site that only caters for one side of the opinion, just as you and others are pissed at the negative press, im here for the latest news, good bad or ugly, not for some experience to cater for precious eels fans.
Agreed Snake. You can't have a forum with only opinions / content you agree with. If you want that then you need to create a website that doesn't allow for outsiders input and you post content of your choosing only. The reason this site is so popular is because it allows for all eels info, the good , the bad and the ugly and we can all state our opinions. And Bert, what happens if a penalty gets imposed within 5 days? Are we then not allowed to talk about it?
That's where we disagree mate. I have no interest in hearing "the latest news, good bad or ugly" from a troll that's all agenda driven.
I'm happy to read any true (1eyed member) OWN thoughts that don't come from a copy/paste article from the paper, that most of us have already seen, heard or read 1000 times before logging on to this site.
We have waited a bloody long time to be sitting 3rd on the ladder and have a team like this. What a shame that the opinion of the likes of Peter Peters detracts from that in any way or takes up even 1mm space on here.
Maybe it's just me, but my Wednesday nights are so much better for not watching the Footy Show anymore, I don't read newspapers and watch the games on Fox so I don't have to listen to the dribble from the likes of Andrew John's. I guess that has transferred to my view on here.
I know if you don't like a blog, don't read it, and I don't. But I would like to see over the course of 5 days who feels the need to keep putting this crap up.

There was a lady here once who wanted the same thing and all the unicorns got together and posted luvly things all holding hands together.
Fu€kin wake up to yourselves. This club is in the midst of serious problems that may affect our season. Yeah let's not talk about it. Lol.
