Last week i made a prediction in another Blog.
Crystal Ball
Waqa v Manly - 7 missed tackles , 3 penalties / six agains/ given, tackle efficency 74%. 3 or more tries let in on his right edge, race out of the defensive line 2. Bumped off tackles 2. Out of position in defence 3. Arm grabs / clean air tackles 1.
Well i hate to say it but it was worse then even i predicted, if you can believe it.
Waqa Blake Official stats.
Played 70 minutes, 6 missed tackles, " a game high", 2 ineffective tackles, 65% tackle efficency, 1 unforced error, 4 tries let in on the right edge. Numerous out of position misreads in defense. Gave away 4 penalties and was sin binned leaving us with 12 on the park and placed on report for two offences. Now get this minus -3 fantasy football points, yes thats right while wearing Blue and Gold in this game he was actually better for the opposition.
In 3 games this year he has amassed a team high 15 missed tackles.
I know some people have expressed that he is hard done by, and its everyone elses fault, but im not so sure. What are peoples thoughts on retaining Waqa or replacing him with Nuikore or perhaps Penisini. This bloke has a contract with us untill 2023.
Im begging BA to please never let this bloke play first grade again. Enough is enough and this bloke is no longer up to playing first grade for the Blue and Gold. What are peoples thoughts.

NO!
Hard not to agree with this. We looked almost clueless down that side today in defence. Niukore has to replace him for next week or we'll get a cricket score put on us.
Niukore straight in next week, undoubtedly.
Try get rid of him to a desperate team cause AFAIK he's contracted till end of next year.
He shouldn't no. His defence is nothing short of awful.
He needs to be punted, but nothing would surprise me with B.A.
He will get suspended for a game anyway.
Nuikore back next week.
we can't get dbrown back soon enough.
Jarthur was an absolute passenger today in defence and attack. His kicks were woeful. Missed taxkles shocking.
moses and guth MIA today but they were put under heaps of pressure by a clinical manly side.
Jakes a long way off being 1st grade quality.
Jake is a long way off NRL standard, but he will learn. In saying that I don't think he will ever be a genuine FG.
Disagree, the kid has some vision and time, in the new game that will make a playmaker look even better . agreed it's early for him to play the big guns but that's not by choice... he will grow from the lessons.
