With Tino Fa’asuamaleaui ruled out with an ACL can the eels use this to our advantage.  We have plenty of forwards that the titans need and they have surplus outside backs with speed and talent.

Obviously players need to agree to a mid season move but we should definitely be looking into this as an opportunity to strengthen the squad with a swap.

Not sure how much cap space the titans have so they might need to replace Tino by making a sacrifice somewhere else.

  • If a case of offloading a Ogden or Makatoa and getting a outside back with speed then why not it would benefit both parties

    • Yeah that would be great!
We could use some more speed and skills in the backline!

  • It would be good.

Some of our backup forwards might jump at the chance.

I know the Titans are a shit show but they would get to live on the coast and get to play first grade which they might not get to do at Parra.

  • There is a big unrest at the Titans and I'm sure there would be no shortage of player lining up to get out of there and play for a team with a fair chance of playing semis .

  • Would be great. They have some good backs and some very ordinary ones. The Titans are a strange read. A mate of mine is on the coaching staff and he told me that they were absolutely humming pre season and were going to go top 4. I watched them on the weekend against the Dogs and the big teams would have beaten them by 70!

We can then get a bunch of Qld players but leave them up there to thrive in their local environment."
