Can't really complain about that.

We didn't deserve to win that game. Yes there were some bad calls. But we threw that game away we had all the postion in the 1st half but only scored the 1 try.At times we looked like the new parra tough committed. Than we looked like the old parra sloppy giving away silly penalties.Penrith played as good as us except that with 5 to go they kept playing were assured in their play. We panicked.Simply put we got what we deserved. We can highlight some players for criticism but i can't single out anyone player we lost this game due to a series of moments were we gave up the ball gave piggy back penalties.Maybe this is the loss we needed to have its eazy to overlook areas when your winning we need to be better than we were today. Simole as that.

  • There was a lot of sloppy play , missed passes etc . Not good enough at all
  • Panthers had more 2nd phase play. Parra were one out.
  • Would be a lot easier to stomach if we lost away from home but Parra Stadium isn't the fortress of old

  • Every one knows are issues at the moment- lack of cohesion in attack. We should have put the panthers away early in that game but we don't have the points in us yet
  • Penrith defended very very well, we were a bit disjointed in attack but i thought there was some nice backline moves from us, just a pitty about the obstruction.

    • That no try set the scene and voodoo'd us.

    • That was a very very poor overturn from the bunker. Edwards was facing our posts and the ball deflected to a Panther who knocked on. Never ever should've been overturned there and in essence that decision cost us the game

  • Agree 100% TOE. we just didnt do enough good things today and we had our chances
  • TOE, when you say we looked like the old Eels at some stages ... I think it was when BA shifted Scott to defend in the middle and had Edwards or Pritchard defending inside Foran. I think our defensive line looked vulnerable to shifts of the ball at that time, and in the final play Soward correctly read that we were short on our left because we had over-committed on our right. Scott has been crucial in organizing our defense, counting numbers. Bad move BA?
    • Good observations. Agree 100%
