Anyone else notice this cheap shot. Disgusting stuff. Anyone that thinks professionals don't have control of their leg movements and try to say it was an accident is kidding themselves. Shocking stuff.

Yes sure did I was fuming last night that no action was taken. I am over Melbourne getting away with this stuff. Seems like the video ref is no longer looking at foul play. The amazing thing for me is despite this rubbish the eels remained disciplined. It is time the NRL stood up. I wonder what the charge would be if it was a Parramatta player. Also I would love to know the percentage of no tries this ref calls against Parramatta compared to others. If he calls try when the linesman got in the way then it would have been given.
Just watched it again now and 100% on purpose
Had 2 shots at it when he didn't get a good shot first time.
Crowd reacted right away but touch judge didn't move
Yeah it's on video so he should be trouble. I mean, look, it's video, we can all see it. Hello NRL???
Bullshit how they always get away with things like this. Has to be some bribing somewhere behind the scenes cause Melbourne has been getting away with these grubby acts for years..
It happened a few times during the game and not once were they penalised for it.
There was one on Sivo that left him stunned for a minute.
It's just part of the game unfortunately.
They will never let Melbourne " fail" ever
was ok for Perth etc but not anymore
They will be protected forever
need Kate mc clymont or a brave journo to do an investigation into comparisons of judiciary charges etc
The thing with Melbourne is the big population who will lose interest if Melbourne aren't winning. Sydney clubs don't have that issue, hence why the NRL will do anything to keep Melbourne winning. Their tactics at the moment are disgraceful though and need to be called our for the dog shots they are. That could be their undoing ironically.
The penalty was for holding down not the knees. The knees should have been binned and on report.
Yeah it was for holding down, not the knee to the head. That's exactly right. But we can all see it now. It's there. It's on video. Am I missing something. Do the nrl match review committee just decide to ignore random stuff. It's so weird...
