  i say "no weaker" because when you look at it, they got rid of a lot of the senior guys who only have a few years ileft in the game anyway - finch lima hoffman white. There big losses were tolman and inglis. tandy cahill isa can be replaced.....now they've bought some cheap players shrewdly in troy thomspon, maurice blair, elijah niko the warriors toyota cup star, adam woolnough, and now Champion? please, i dont see how they'll field a weakened side next year.....how on earth can they fit in Champion? its quite ironic that they shed all those players, yet somehow have room in the cap to sign others? dosen't that defeat the purpose of " shedding players to fit into the salary cap" concept in the first place?

  I dont think the Storm have any use for Beau Champion they have center stocks already Justin O Neil, Chase Stanley, Maurice Blair and even Anthony Quinn could play in the centers who knows they might make a play for Champion but i hear that Champion has told Souths that he has no intentions of leaving the club and wishes to remain a bunnie along with team mates Michael Crocker and Ben Lowe but there is a possibilty that souths would opt to realease John Sutton or even Issac Luke and yes i know what your gonna say there is no way that Souths will realease Sutton or Luke but trust me Souths are so desparate for Greg Inglis to remain in Redfern bassically i would go as far to say that Souths will realease any player in their team to get GI except Sam Burgess i would say. I dont think that GI is worth as much trouble that Souths have gone to try and secure his signature Souths want Inglis for the name the fame the andorsements and they beleive that he will deliver them a priemership.
