Parramatta fans know that the team have a weak underbelly, and now they must overcome the shortest allowable turn around in the NRL (5 days), and beat the underperfoming last place Panthers, or face the reality of another season sliding by.
1 Who should be dropped ?
2. Can the Eels toughen up and get the win ?
For mine Alvaro must be dropped as well as Takairangi. These two have been the worst performing players in the NRL and would not make any other team's starting side.

Was gunna say the same thing, Alvaro’s defence has been shocking, particularly his goal line defencr. Taka offers less than Hoffman who offers les than salmon at centre.
I think they'll beat the Panthers. It has the potential to be either close, or we steam roll them. Unfortunately it's another danger game that Parra seems to keep getting. Things for thought:
- Maika Sivo is back, thankfully that means George Jennings is OUT
- Jaemen Salmon or Josh Hoffan to replace Brad Takarangi at Centre. Michael Jennings will be back, so even better.
- Will Smith wasn't awful, but I think Bevan French deserves his shot at 6.
- I'm not sure about Daniel Alvaro. I'd be dropping him if Nathan Brown was back, but he isn't for a few more weeks.
- Either that or I'd put Gutho at 6, and French at 1. Either way, give Bevan a shot.
Yes we definitely can beat the panthers who are playing garbage footy, will we is another question.
I think panthers due for a win
I drop Hoffman,, Takairangi,, Alvaro,, Smith G Jennings Mannah
Back in Sivo for Jennings
move Gutherson to 5/8 put French at fullback
salmon centre to replace taka
bring in O Kaufusi Alvaro
and Gower for Mannah
Penrith are atrocious. They have massive problems. We will win and it will be 13+.
Alvaro needs to be dropped, This guy is terrible in defence and hits the line like a sponge. No impact at all.
G Jennings was another that was crap but Sivo will be back to take his place.
Taka looks lost when he can't just throw the ball out the back to see if anyone is there. Salmon or Hoffman would be a better option at centre.
Tepai needs to get off the ground after tackles. He isn't terrible but he is getting there.
Moses can't be dropped because we don't have anyone to cover but he didn't take the line on once in 80 minutes and the pass on the first tackle to the third row of the grandstand shows where his head is.
The Eels don't look like they want to do the dirty work. Lucky if the forwards bother with trying to get us going because every hit up is done by an outside back.
The outside backs have been working their butts off while most of the forwards look like they are wearing concrete boots. All the opersition needs to do is quick play the ball up through the middle and they will be attacking our line within 3 or 4 tackles.
ERRORS - Holy crap boys, Hold the friggin ball. 3rd worst in the comp for errors and 2nd worst for handling errors but it's more down to when and where that kills us. Combine that with 3rd worst for missed tackles and 3rd worst for completed sets and it all startes to add up.
No line speed in defence and no support in attack is all down to attitude.
