Not sure if there has been any blogs on this guy as yet but I understand Parra have signed Billy Rogers who is a former Storm player. Can anyone shed some light on who he is, his age and his background?

Billy Rogers is a lock or second rower, not a halfback. However, he is a very talented and very highly praised player that captained (I believe) the premiership-winning Melbourne Storm Toyota Cup side of 2009. He will be a great boost to our already awesome-looking NYC roster :)
He is to old for NYC! Is a chance at first grade would be a bit worried with a backrow including Hindy, Smith, Rogers - A little too defence orientated.
It might be said he's taken Brendan Oake's place in the squad (positionally, if not in terms of stature, etc). I'm still cut Oakey didn't get offered a contract - although I believe he may still be playing for Wenty next year, so I hope Rogers proves an asset. Lot of second rowers ahead of him, though.
"is that not a different subject, I think I commented on the athletic coach or what ever he is was....Seraph has a bigger agenda to undermine about the administration."
"You forgot that we don't start well either. They were 12 up after 7 minutes and scored 18 in the last 8 minutes.
We tend to go alright for 40 minutes somewhere in the middle of the match.
Absolute rubbish."

Thanks Burty-much appreciated! Any chance of him making first grade this year?
Unlikely AM.
We might see him feature heavily in the NYC and NSW Cup.
Very talented player, one of those players with freakish natural ability!
Luke Kelly captained the 09 Storm NYC side.
Tough player in the dallas johnson mould.

Will look good in a Wenty Jersey, thats about it.
