Cam King

Please tell me BA is smart enough to start him tonight??? Smith isn't a specialist hooker and we saw how much we missed that last week vs the sharks.

  • That is the only logical way i see it playing out
  • Kings uneless, better off without him imo.

    • I don't have wraps on him either but it doesn't make sense to me starting with Smith
  • If BA plays Smith at 9, is he telling Cam he is not in BA,s future plans. Just a thought.

    • Not necessarily Graham. All it says is that right now he is not playing well enough to be selected, but that could certainly change. This time last year he had yet to play a game for us, no one, myself included, thought he would, but he did and he was a pivotal cog in our charge into the top 4.

If I was to go back into everyone's preseason team lists I'm pretty confident I'd find that 9/10 lists had him in our team ahead of Kaysa.

Too many of our fans lose faith far too quickly.

In any event, you need to have at least 3, preferably 4 genuine dummy half options in your roster, injuries always happen.

      • We had 3 or 4 half options??? All of them are reserve graders and wouldn't make any other sides top 17.

Mahoney is the  best dummy half at the club and he is not in the top 30. We will probably lose him so we can keep an absolute plodder like Kaysa.

    • Cam has already started looking at options for next year and post career good guy gives his all but just not good enough to be a consist 1st grader.

Big opportunity for will to cement a spot lets hope hes up to it
    • We don’t have a complete top 30 do we yet, Alan?
  • I don’t think B.A. has any future plans Graham! Except to collect his monthly pay check.

  • Yep i had King as our 9, a plus is he has a good kicking game. I hope Beau Scott can give us 50mins of aggressive  footy tonite. We need him to lead our defence.
