Calm down

I've watched the game the other night and I think there are many people on here who are getting way to ahead of themselves in their analysis of the form of certain players.

There wasn't much in that game the other night. There were a few moments that could have easily had a drastic change on the score. Unfortunately at this time of the season when trying to develop our style these things can happen. I thought the guys really did well in staying competitive. One of our biggest problems was the wet track. We are a team that will do much better on a dry pitch. We have a lot of guys with great foot work, Taka is one of those.

I think the Sharks played a really good style and we just couldn't adapt. Our halves should have been kicking behind the rushing line more often but we just didn't sync up.

I've been impressed with the game style we are trying to put together. If we can get it working it will take us a long way.

  • I watch the game  to and we tried to score of every play and just hand it over to them with silly play and our defence is shit

  • I thought analysing, over analysing, examining everything to the nth degree and subjectively reacting to every twist and turn that the season brings was the whole point of this footy forum?

It would be tumbleweeds if we all just calmed down and said nothing.

It's like going onto a porn site and not having a bat - what would be the point of that?

    • haha i like the porn analogy - can say i never went to a porn site and didnt have a bat..or two...

  • Theres a lot of merit in what you say, if you sit down and analyse the Dragons game and the Sharks game you will probably find 5 or 6 key moments that are the difference between flogging a side and getting flogged. But if we want to play finals it's those key moments that we need to get right every week or most weeks . I'm not keen for wholesale changes either but I think a couple of tweaks to the side might make it stronger across the board.
  • Lol
  • Maybe just maybe one day we will run out of excuses....

"Well they came out and said they didn't reply. If it turns out he's lied and he did reply, they will lose all faith from the fans and clubs and Parra should go for the jugular. Then I have no doubts Abdo will need to step down."

"I can't see the NRL punishing our players for the Clubs actions, that would hurt the game even more and push the fans further offside with what they're doing. They will find other ways behind the scenes."
