Call me crazy, We will Win against the Knights

Call me crazy, we will win against the KnightsI know on recent form you wouldn't pick us to win but I think next week we will end the bad form with our game against the Knights. The loss against at Titans will see the teams attitude change and I'm sure BA will be more aggressive with the roster that plays. I don't believe BA to be a soft coach and the guilt of a half arsed effort two weeks in a row will see the boys turn things around. Also history shows W,L,L,W,L,L,........W? Hopefully they kick that pattern to W,W,Wworried about: Hoppa isn't coping with fullback pressure, de'gois isn't bringing the intensity he was being at the back of last year. Joseph Paul is just so average, alway 1 step forward and two back with him.Sandow needs to step up and choc needs to focus on himself.Pulling their weight:Wicks, Ma'u, Gower, Faraimo, Robinson, TerepoThe rest need a clip Behind the ear and to bring their best this week.

  • The only way we win is if Newcastle let us. We are playing them at a bad time.

They have also dropped the last two and will be desperate at home. Good luck knocking them over up there.

    • A little like us letting the Tigers and the Titans, hopefully we want it more. Less talk and more action!
    • You are confident in the eels beating the knights in Newcastle, really? Ur kidding right?
  • flip a coin.... We should have smashed Newcastle at home last year. They were the bottom team, playing badly and we were at home... yet they still won. Maybe we'll win this time? There's upsets every round (even the Cowboys just beat Souths at ANZ this evening).

A win would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath. Lower your expectation to lesson the pain Eg. Warriors, Tigers and Titans....  I thought we would win all of those

  • We will beat the knights and Chrissy will have a blinder.

  • Snapper, is that fekking Swahili you are talking there?

Any chance of rewriting that in a form i can understand, preferably in English.

  • It hasn't taken long. After a couple of negative days the Unicorns are out in force again.

Ontha Newcastle will be very hard to beat up there. We haven't won since 2009.

There's a fine line between optimism and lunacy. I want to believe I really really do but I just cant see it happening.

Wait till that team list comes out tomorrow, you will delete this blog.

    • There's nothing wrong with optimism Frank and I believe that's what we're doing.

Lunacy would be going out and putting you house on them, but we're not, we're just expecting a win.

Maybe you should try riding your unicorn a bit, the fat little bastard needs a bit of exercise and it might just put a smile on your face.

Eels fans - early in the week = shitty. Mid to late week = unicorn riding optimists. Lol
  • Ok ur crazy but I love ur optimism. If the players were ashamed as they said they were after the Tigers game they would have shown it in the Titans game but they didn't. Talk is all we have heard at parramatta for several years and each year starts with renewed optimism (usually after a new coach comes in or a coach in his second year so we expect better results) and they find a way to just squeeze it out of us. It's time for action, no more words no more bs from mannah or anyone else telling us how sorry they are for the fans, enough, show you give two shits on the field and do it every week, that's all we ask...
  • I said the same before Souths. Its not based on form, its based on bounce back. After two ordinary performances, we will see a committed and hungry team this week. They may lose but it will be a different team from last 2 weeks. The Cowboys have shown it after losing their first 3. The Dragons after their first two. There is NO POINT judging our chances based on last week! That is not the ability of our team and was a very poor day.
