A typical grade I calf strain will heal in seven to 10 days, a grade II injury within about four to six weeks, and a grade III calf strain within about three months. The most common injury is a grade II calf strain that takes about six weeks for complete healing.
Let's hope it's not season ending!

He'll be gone for 4-6 weeks I reckon.
He seemed to be walking alright on it last night, had the crutches but didn't really use them so I think worst case scenario is 8 weeks but seeing last night how he was after the initial pain and the way he was moving I reckon 4 weeks tops.
I once tore my calf muscle from just below my knee right down the middle to my Achilles, you could feel the tear through my skin, took me 6 months to fully recover. That said, I literally coundn't walk for about 6 weeks, Mitch looked like he was walking OK, so I'd say about 2-4 weeks, depending on how cautious BA wants to be.
BA on the footy show just now said that Moses had done the injury during the covid layoff and this time it's not as bad as then so maybe only a couple of weeks.
Just saw BA on the Sunday Footy show. He said Moses was walking well today so this isn't as bad as what he did during the Covid break. He's having a scan today but BA suggested he might only need a couple of weeks. Fingers crossed
Scan results came back inconclusive
