''I got a bit of treatment at half-time, and had it strapped up, and that got me through. I've done something to the medial (ligament), but it's apparently only a minor strain. The doctor said it should be OK in a few days. I think I'll be OK for next week. If it does put me out, it'll only be for one game.''
The Eels have a short turnaround this week. They will back up against Wests Tigers at the Sydney Football Stadium on Friday night. Earlier in the week, Parramatta confirmed 28-year-old Burt, who made his first-grade debut for the club at just 17 and is in his 12th season at the top level, had extended his contract until the end of 2012. His 200th game on top of that brought a lot of emotion to the surface, and he had to try to push that to one side once the whistle blew for kick-off.
