The next NSW Blues coach might be Sam Burgess.
What do they say about the definition of insanity? Trying the same thing over and over and expecting a different result?
Well that’s where the Blues find themselves.
Queensland has won a staggering 14 of the past 18 series. It’s time for change.
The New South Wales coach has only ever been a former player who represented the state, or had aspirations to, and it’s time to think outside the box.
It looks like Brad Fittler’s tenure is coming to an end and I want to put forward a candidate to replace him.
Sam Burgess.
The Englishman is one of the greatest rugby league players to ever lace a boot, has coached his own team in the bush and is now a highly-respected Rabbitohs assistant.
But most importantly, Burgess knows how to win.

They're going from dumb and dumber to exceptionally dumb and dumber. Who makes up these fantasies?
Magic dust in the carpark, drug and drunk driving, lots of running to avoid the testers, cover ups - sounds like a great idea!
Ha yep. He's a class act for sure. Also, he's never exoerienced Origin beyond that of a normal fan.
I say this with absolutely no hyperbole, I could coach NSW better than Fittler. The bloke is a dope.
Looking at Burgess as a coach, he is a smart rugby league mind. But yeah not suited for NSW.
First time post - hey everyone. What about Trent Barrett for SOO coach? He was assistant under Laurie Daley - has obviously improved heaps and we could afford for him to take the time off as he is assistant. Plus gives us good insider contact with any elite players we may want in future?
Might affect his work with the Eels.
I heard Paul Gallen wants the job 😩
Gee, hope not
Gee he'd be fantastic, most selfish and overrated player to ever pull on a Blues jersey.
Yep, he's the obvious choice IMO.
