Bunty could be our new Fui, the long wild hair running off the back fence. Warriors have given him permission to seek a contract elsewhere for 2021 despite being contracted til the end of 2021.Currently sidelined with acl injury. I hope BA and O'Neil are having a crack because I think he would be great impact for us off the bench.Plays second Row but is predominantly a middle forward and I can hear the Parra crowd now as Bunty winds up AAAAAAAAAAAFFFOAAA.!!!!!!!

Get him just becasue his called Bunty.
His real name is Lulio I believe. So yeah we'll call him Bunty.
The problem is that he would he coming off an ACL. Even though he did it in February, he wouldn’t be back to his best till 2022.
Brett, Christian Welch did his ACL last August and he's playing very well 12 months later, has been for a while.
Yes, but he is the exception. Generally speaking it takes the player 2 years to be back to his best after an ACL.
It also depends whether it’s a full or partial rupture.
Christian Welch would be a fantastic recruit, he's been very cagey when asked about his future and we almost snared him a few years back.....fingers crossed he is in the blue n gold next year.,
Actually it was last year, but a lot has changed since then. He’s a starter now, he wasn’t then. He was going to be a starter with us, but we’ve signed RCG since then, so Welch wouldn’t be a starter with us.
Unless we offer massive overs, why would he leave Melbourne, who have indicated that he is a priority resigning for them.
Yeah you make some god points Brett.
Who would you be targetting?
I'm with most here, I think Jack Hetherington is there for the plucking. He is still under contract for another year, but unless they part ways with Tamou, which is possible, he isn't in their best 17, but he is more than good enough to be in someones best 17, why not us ?
He'll be free to negotiate come Nov 30 anyway, I'm sure if we go to the Panthers and say, "Hey, if we take on more of RCG's or Waqa Blake's salaries, will you release Hetherington early to us ?", they'd be very receptive to that. They'd save on having to upgrade Hetherington & save some of the freight they're paying for RCG or Waqa.
Win-win for everybody. We get JH, he gets to play regularly, the Panthers get substantial cap relief that they're gonna need sooner or later.
They may have him lined up to replace Tamou who is already 31 turning 32 and surely won't go on for too many years....tricky one. I just feel like we need senior hardened props, too many young inexperenced forwards gets you in trouble especially in the middle. I'd rather someone with more experience than JH
