Now that the weekend's over, news of injuries and possible suspensions are leaking out. It seems as though the Bulldogs team is going to be stuffed for the next few weeks. Now that I think of, they might even be brought down to our level in regard to the number of players which are out. I've been seeing some articles on social media and in the paper about injury confirmations and the gradings of players put on report. I've compiled some of the info here, to save you from trawling through different articles and sites. Although I'm not writing about the Eels, I still find it very interesting as the Dogs are considered to be one of the better teams in the competition. Perhaps if they lose a few of their next games, they'll be struggling for points at the end of the year and make things easier for us to get into the 8?
Tim Lafai - 8 weeks (medial ligament tear)
Brett Morris - 2 to 3 months (hamstring)
Sam Kasiano - Dangerous Contact - Grade 2 (2 to 3 games)
(For flopping/ sitting on the Souths player which then became the 8 point try)
James Graham - Dangerous Contact Grade 2 (1 to 2 games)
James Graham - Contrary Conduct, Dissent - Grade 3 (2 to 3 games)
(For his behavior and actions at the end of the game, with the charge down and then yelling at the refs)
David Klemmer - Contrary Conduct, Dissent - Grade 3
(At the end of the game, saying "You're Fuc*ed, you're off your face" to the ref)
Michael Lichaa - Contrary Conduct, Dissent - Grade 1
(Calling the ref a "Dog" at the end of the game, which could almost be seen as a compliment, coming from a Bulldogs player haha...)
So that's 6 from their starting team they could lose. They're playing the Dragons next week, who have been playing well - but for some reason this Dragons 'home' game is at ANZ. The Dogs then play a weak Manly side and then the Tigers, also both at ANZ. Pretty handy draw, but hopefully those other teams can get their act together and show the Dogs how it's done!
On top of everything else, these suspensions bring me back to the Junior Paulo suspension... how are all these Dog's getting only 1 - 3 weeks per offence? Ugh... and we all know that some, if not all of the charges will be downgraded or dropped... let's be realistic here!

It's also interesting how Sandow can say to a ref "how much are they paying you" in reference to a one sided reffing game with a steep penalty count, while Lichaa can call the ref a "Dog" and not be sent off, but be put on report....?
How do you explain this one. No charge at all...
Exactly.... I was thinking about the Morris kick to the head. The Souths player was actually bleeding from that side of his face. I thought they would probably let Morris off though, as the footage is so blurry and I imagine they want to maintain his somewhat 'clean' image as he helps put bums on seats, as they say.
Bloody disgraceful.
Pauli gets 10 weeks for what he did and all those bulldogs do what they did and only get 2 to 3 weeks make you laugh don't it
Paul you need to drop the 'i' and add the 'o'
awwww we don't want the Bullfrogs crying now do we? Besides Greenbum made sure that his players get off lightly but made sure that we suffer
Doggies won't lose a player Greenturd will see to that
Calm down scotty, all Dogs players took early guilty plea, Graham out for 4 weeks, Klemmer out for 3 weeks, Kasiano out for 2 weeks, Lichaa free to play.....done and dusted, lesson learnt, we move on.
