Bulldogs game just got bigger...

Watching the bulldogs tonight has shown that the Thursday night clash will be a big one.

The dogs outplayed a poor Rabbitohs outfit across the park.

Given the dogs and broncos have looked much better this week the coming 2 games could speak volumes in terms of of the Eels legitimacy as premiership contenders.

The Raiders have shown that the Storm are beatable.

No team outside of the top 4 has ever won the premiership, however this could be they year.

I will not say that the Eels have shown enough to win it all come October, but I think the next few weeks will determine if we are the real deal or just making up the numbers

Will Parra Stadium continue to bring out our best or will the dogs end of year run be more bite than bark?

  • Bulldogs have been playing well lately

If we beat the dogs we are guaranteed sixth place

    • "If we beat the dogs we are guaranteed sixth place"

This should be stuck on the gym wall this week and in the sheds on game day. We shouldn't need any more motivation.

    • Even more crucial, if we win this game we are guaranteed at least one home final appearance

  • This should be a tough game. I reckon we'll only just win it because it's at home.

  • The dogs ate tough . But pretty confident we can beat them . We just need to stop the silly penalties and off loads in our 40. Think we will too quick out wide for the if we get more than 50% possession .

Raiders look very good at moment .  Attack storm straight and through the middle .

  • Would of been good if Storm did a number on the Raiders. That way 3-6 would of all been on 28pts and a win next week would of helped us jump 1-2 spots.

  • Raiders should be manly, Broncos (after tonight) should beat souths. If we win on Thursday, that’s puts us in 4th spot. Wow.. what a massive game this is

  • the dogs just beat south 12/6 hardly a great score south have plenty of injury concerns to deal with.

at bankwest  parra should beat the dogs easy, they must not play up the middle  and one out footie, the dogs love that, the eels need to play fast and edges , bring backfergo for this game and with sevo and blake they will blow the dogs away...no doubt.

  • Should beat Bulldogs. They don't have the firepower in attack.

  • The one time you want Melbourne to win a game and they lose.   With the bunnies in massive slump with key players carrying injuries I don't see them making the top 4.  I also thought the raiders could slip out as they are playing Manly at home next week followed by sharks away  so we would have been in with real chance of top 4 as they are both very difficult games for the raiders.

After the their win today though we probably want the raiders to beat Manly next week as it will mean our final game against manly at Bankwest would be for 4th place if we beat the Bulldogs which I think we will.  Despite them beating the rabbits they offer very little in attack and our defence has improved considerably over past month.
