Bulldogs beat judiciary AGAIN

Josh Jackson free to play in Origin III

NSW forward Josh Jackson is free to play in the State of Origin decider after successfully having his dangerous throw charge downgraded at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night.

The Canterbury second-rower was hit with a grade two dangerous throw on Penrith five-eighth Jamie Soward in the first half of their clash last Saturday night.

But the judiciary panel agreed to reduce the charge to grade one, meaning Jackson will miss this Monday's match against Melbourne but be available for selection for the Blues when coach Laurie Daley names his team on Tuesday.

Game Three will be played in Brisbane on July 8.

  • OMFG!

I keep thinking about Junior Paulos tackle. **shakes head again and again**

    • but has Jackson been dumb enough to do it on numerous occasions like Junior?... If Paulo does it again he'll get 12-13 weeks and they should add another 4 weeks on top of that just for stupidity

  • And wasn't Manu a grade 2..... WTF !!!!!!!!!!!

Bulldogs and Origin players can get away with ANYTHING !!!!!!

  • Good on them they actually fought the case and won. Why didn't we try.

    • Yeah, that actually is a positive.

    • Probably a more accurate blog title.

  • So you believe Jnr's tackle was done with nine times more intent? And Ballin was placed in greater danger than Soward in his position with driving his head. Wow I must be one eyed then

    • I'd say u have NFI but you'd probably have No Fcuking Idea what NFI means....WTF are u on about? It doesnt matter how much intent there was... Only reason he got such a long suspension was cos it was a repeated offence. Next time he does it he'll get an even longer sentence which would be deserved just for his stupidity. FMD some people on this site....

      • Wow no need to be so agressive BADASS!! Yeah you are right he had prior offence but the grading was inconsistant with this one and don't think the grading has anything to do with repeat offence does it?

Juniors was a grade three charge that failed to be downgraded and that is the essence of the point!!

  • Maybe Raelene Castle always dressing like she is a member of ISIS, is intimidating the match review committee.
