We will lose to the dogs and we will not make the 8 and BA will not blood new young player to see if they can handle the NRL

Arnie, you keep harping on about "blooding new young players" If they were there in the positions that we might need to strengthen then I say. By all means. It should be noted that BA is very well aware of that too.
IMO there are possibly 2 positions (maybe 3 next year) that could be considered when looking to give a young fella a go in a position where we are perceived as not strong enough. Wing and Front row/middle or hooker forwards. These are also positions where we may have someone in Wenty/reserve grade or U/20's Jersey Flegg.
The only 3 blokes in those two sides who would be considered "new young blood" that might handle 1st grade are:
Niukore, plays backrow we have great depth there. Tep, Manu, Kedwards, Trex (until last week) - no opportunity. BA played him in middle last week. Perhaps with a view to giving him an op in the middle?
Stone, plays middle #13 - lock we have great depth there also. Brown, Tep, Manu and Peni no opportunity. trialled him at hooker last year with average outcome for Wenty. Is not a wide running backrower either.
Davis (only played couple of NRL games to date) plays centre we have great depth there- no opportunity. Davis was given a run on the wing but crashed in D positionally. may get another opportunity if he keeps going well for Wenty.
Mahoney; plays hooker/dummy half well at both those levels, but no better than Kaysa or King do when playing for Wenty. He will probably need the rest of the season playing there getting stronger and gaining experience before he's elevated to NRL.
We were beaten by a sharks side missing Gallen, Lewis, Dugan, Bukuya and Wade Graham for majority of the match. Injuries dont meat squat if we turn up with the right attitude. Dogs have been poor this year and we should beat them but fuck me dead we should have beat the sharks also so who knows. Battle for the spoon this Friday night.
When you look at it from the perspective of percentage of win to loses it's still possible based on our last three games where we have won 2 from 3. That's the same as what is required to sneak into top 8.
"HFK, If I'm wrong about Pezet & he turns out to be a complete lemon, so be it. We all get things wrong, make mistakes, make false assumptions.
What kind of six is Ryles after? Dunno. But Pezet appears to have footy IQ with swagger, a kicking game,…"
"Whether there is a definitive answer or not, it'll have nothing to do with us signing Pezet. He was only available for 2026. He had already signed with the Broncos long term from 2027."
"I have been highly critical of the decision and have copped a little blow back for it, let's see in 12 months time with the eels heading into the 2027 season if they don't have a definitive answer on who will be our long term 6 if the people…"

Winning 10 from 15 is the same ratio.
Np point rushing him back, season is fucked anyway.
