Brown facing two weeks

Not sure if this has been discussed, but Nathan Brown facing two weeks for his hot on Radley. Got to love his enthusiasm but its no good if he is rubbed out for weeks at a time. He's only just come back.Does he tone it down and we risk losing his aggression.Maybe the judiciary need to see it as it was a nothing tackle, Player wasn't knocked out, no intent , free to play, but no he'll be out again. Noticed Gutho copped a knock, no replay no penalty?

  • He'll get two weeks because his history and because he wears a Parra jersey

    • This. Gutho's head.chopped nothing.

  • He gets two weeks whether he takes the guilty plea or fights and loses. He should definitely fight it. It was clearly accidental, player was falling etc. His legal team will be able to highlight other tackles from the weekend that attracted no charges at all like Mitchell and the hit on Gutho. Definitely worth a shot.

  • On another note, Victor Radley, what a player, seriously where do Chooks get these guys, wiki says he grew up in Bronte so they can call him a jnr i guess.just an annoying hungry aggressive player.wish he was ours.

  • We got to fight it. Accepting these bs decisions causes  trouble later. Top teams always fight it when they have a case.

  • In the DT today says we are going to fight it and are dirty he was even charged.

  • Confirmed, Brown will be contesting the grading at the judiciary. He's got some precedent on his side with the fact Radley wasn't charged at all and neither was Mitchell. No lose situation really. If he loses, well it's the two weeks anyway, if he wins then he's not suspended.

      • Well, then, all the more reason to argue for the downgrade.

      • Hang on, so Radley got charged by match review but the ref ignored the high shot at the time , is that the same tackle?please remind me of the context of the game ie. Scoreline at the time? I remember we were struggling to make it out of our end and Guth stayed down after but still no penalty.

          • I'm serious I need to fuel the fire, do you know the minute mark and score at the time?and the Lane elbow wasn't that whilst trying to score IE. Another penalty try?
