Brooks Unavailability Stops Moses Release

An excellent source has it that despite Luke Brooks being named in the 21, he has not recovered from his hammy injury and will NOT play this weekend. Cleary wouldn't even look at releasing Moses until Brooks was back and the fat lady hasn't sung quite yet on this one !!! A trusty garlic source from the FRUIT MAN.

  • Sounds logical.

  • I have little doubt that this is on the money
  • I reckon this is true. Cleary is in all sorts at the moment and to think everyone thought he was going to bring calmness to that club.

Everything he says you have to question.
  • Cleary has said Moses will be staying all year.

    • HKF you have it wrong its called going to the highest bidder. Chooks, Bulldogs and Broncos don't have a cap. Do you think Sharks wanted to see Bird gone. Common sence isn't very common. Plus Cleary has been coach two and a half weeks.
    • Moses was a done deal before Cleary. All the deals have been rumours before Cleary and I feel they all want money
    • All about money you clowns
  • If it's in Clearys best interest to release Moses he will do it, if not he won't it's that simple. If it becomes apparant that they need the cash to secure someone or if Arthur can convince a couple of players to pack their bags to sweeten the deal (players the panthers actually want) then it will be adios Moses.
    • I don't think us sending players to the Panthers will help us get Moses

  • Gee the media are going to hang this guy. In today's telly another article about him and the club talking rubbish about being old school. Especially after the what happened with Robbie Farah & JT, and this is what you have to look at, at the end. All this negative press isn't doing Cleary or the Tigers any good. Any player that don't want to be there show them the door. Look firm, look like a leader, give those younger guys their chance, take yourself out of the news. Cleary looking not much different to Taylor, he needs to start controlling his players. Brooks has been made a fool, he wanted to know who the coach was so he can sign his next contract, clearly he ain't staying, clearly he played a hand into sacking JT. He the captain of the club, the leader, the spokesman, the guy that should be by the coaches side helping to attract and retain players. He doing nothing! He should be sack and move on to the next player!!!
