This story just now breaking on Fox Sports website.
I know this topic has been broached on here previously, but, before TPJ was shopping himself to other clubs which, if accepted, would mean that his new club would have to pay some of the freight to the Broncos for his $650k per year contract.
If his contract is torn up, he'll be more desperate to find a new home.
His discipline issues are well documented but, at his best, is an absolute weapon. He's a NSW boy (originally from Newcastle I think) and if we are to lose Kane Evans, David Gower, Daniel Alvaro and Peni Terepo, this bloke - on the right money - might be a perfect replacement.
I'd back BA to get the best out of him as he has with Nathan Brown.

I'd question whether he's a cultural fit. Yes he can play but he's definitely an absolute spud who, when not suspended on the field is full of distractions off it.
It's a risk no doubt.
Considering there will be clubs more desperate than us who will be prepared to throw pretty decent coin at him and offer him a multi-year deal, we probably aren't in the hunt anyway.
But, imagine if we could nab him for say $300k per year on a 12 month contract? It would be in his interests to keep his head down and play his best footy to get a contract extension on money closer to what he's been enjoying this year.
If that best case scenario where to play out, I'd consider it a risk absolutely worth taking!
He may have trouble getting NRL registration for a while.
Clubs are mostly stupid when it comes to recruitment. If he's after the dollar (undoubtedly he is) some imbecile will offer him ridiculous money and a multi year deal. Or in the Rooster's case a paltry amount of money on the cap (and a big brown paper bag). Roosters would be my bet. He's already phoned Uncle Nick.
I wouldn't be surprised if that was the outcome he was aiming for. The Siebold rumours might have something to do with his recent eratic behaviour.
Admitedly he is a loose cannon and lacks discipline on the field and off it.
In that case I would go after Staggs instead. He's a gun!
I'm thinking either the Roosters or Souths.
The Broncs are imploding - maybe he could turn over a new leaf at a new club The simple way to find out would be to have a chat with him (or his manager) and find out how much he's willing to play for - if it's all about going to the highest bidder it would be a bad, bad idea.
Would I want him over Lane, Matto or Marata for more money? Nope.
The blokes got no brains, but geeze he'd add some serious punch off the bench.
Parra is the only club who can't attract the right people to help with TPAs so this will never happen as Pangi is not going to go to a club for unders he will end up at Souths who don't want for TPAa and they need a forward like him. Parra would need to let go of a few players to get him.
You been keeping up with the scotch during this pandemic Mac?
And why the fuck woukd you want a dumb ass dead shit like TPJ at your club anyway and which company is going to shell out to be associated with as moron like him .... the days of signing blokes purely on their playing ability are all but dead and blokes like TPJ will learn the hard way.
Agree it would be great if he wanted a fresh start and was prepared to put the hard work in for less pay. We won't be signing him for 650k (or more) - we don't do that shit anymore.
I reckon that's probably not reality though - I'd be genuinely shocked if he didn't go to either a club offering a ridiculous deal, or the Roosters, or Souths.
