Honestly how good are their young players with the help of the thoroughbreds they will stay at the club for the next 10 years no doubt im predicting big big things for the brox over the next few years.
Imagine if we had a crop of players and the ability to retain them how positive we would be..

Parramatta should not be playing finals footy. They don’t deserve to be there. They don’t play like a finals team. Whoever they play in the first week, which I reckon it will be Brisbane, they will blow us off the park
It’s good to offload the ball and stuff but you actually have to catch the ball first lol you can’t be taking that and a woeful kicking game into finals footy!

Are we a top 2 team? No. But we're not in the top 2. Are we a top 4 team? No. But we're not in the top 4.
Are we the 6th best team in the current competition? Yep. And that's where we're sitting. The difference between top 4 and top 6 is going on with the back end of the year. If we were up to winning the last 2 games we could consider ourselves top 4 material. We lost both, so we're still in 6. Where we deserve to be.
Honestly some Parra fans are so odd - it's like if we're not up there with the Storm or Roosters then we are the worst team in the world.
We'll play finals, that's great. We deserve to. Will we make the GF? Next to no chance. But no one here is claiming we're top 2.
We absolutely should be and will be playing finals footy and we should recognise the team and the coach for getting us this far on the back of a wooden spoon last year. Remember we have 2 kids in our spine, and one was out for half the season. I'm proud of how the team have improved and if we can keep our core together and improve our forward stocks we should go a few better next season.
Talented youth is awesome in pockets of a side. We have Mahoney and Brown. 50% of our spine is youth and they've had enormous impact.
Likewise we injected some experience with Fergo and Taka and Jennings - and that's also served us well in many games when we've needed experienced heads.
I think we've got the youth and experience mix right, we can't inject too much youth all at once. Next season some of our young forwards will definitely be playing first grade. Don't think we have anyone with the raw talent of Haas or Fifi though.

Agree Cap with both of your posts. My only concern is the bench, and who is selected on it. From last nights game I believe Alvaro, was basically fair, but Terepo and Gower are not good enough anymore, Gower was brushed aside by Fifita for his try, along with at least 2 other tackle attempts, (he was not alone in that field though with missed/inefective tackles) Taka, is only there as utility but we need strength on the bench so that we do not lose anything when the bench players come on.
At the bare minimum we need to have Stefano on next week, I would suggest if Tim goes ok at Wenty this weekend he would be better than Alvaro, and a good swansong game for him at eels home game. Also have Kafusi there as well, and Taka as utility, when Brown returns, keep Marata and the next 3 best forwards, as that's where we need to replace like for like as far as abilities are concern.

Who knows we may just find that they find the step up in intensity easier than BA thinks but I guess we’ll never know.
Yep Brad had ample time to blood both our young big boppers, but he chose to run with Alvaro, Gower and Terepo. Now that is a basic coaching error. Could Stefano or Oregon handled and improved to NRL standard by now who knows.
Parra have had a good year, but unless we buy 2 or 3 good forwards we will struggle in 2020. Tigers and Dogs have purashed good talent, we have struggled in attracting anybody bar Blake
Why is everyone so keen to blood some young fowards from a wenty side performing worse than the first grade side. Yes they have potential but the fact they don't have any consistency in the lower grades means they probably need a full pre season under their belt before stepping up.
