Bring on the Eels....

IT was 15 minutes after Penrith surged back into the finals race by dismantling South Sydney last night and coach Matthew Elliott took the microphone to address the fans.Then the chant went up. "Bring on Parra, bring on Parra ...''Elliott just smiled. The countdown to next Friday night's battle of the west, when the Panthers face the Jarryd Hayne-inspired Eels at Parramatta Stadium, had already begun."It's the one that we've got to rise to,'' Elliott said in a clear challenge to his players."Parramatta are playing some sparkling footy, so it's going to be a big challenge for us and we want to make sure that we make it a big challenge for them.""And I think it's us who have to rise to it. But I know this group pretty well now, so we just need to have a really good week's preparation.''

    Penrith are just as good as anyone on their day......say that, we are BETTER than anyone on our day.

    but i really wanna crush that penrith spirit in a little ball and flush it down the toilet.just because that chant.

    we will win, book our spots in the semi's and the panthers will have it all to play for next week

    penrith have no chance... they beat at team full of injuries.. Nothing to be so happy about... Bring it on panthers...

    Penrith only ran away with that game last night cause Souths dropped off and played pathetic in the 2nd half. If they think they are going to have an easy game with us they can think again. When we played them back in rd 17 we were only just starting to come into form and look at us now 6 wins in row. Bring on the Panthers it's going to be a good game.

"Tago and Penisni (arguably two of the slowest outside backs in the NRL) up against Koula and Saab (the fastes outside backs in the NRL). Our forward pack should be able to handle their shit forward pack. But their 1-7 probably out shines ours."
