Bring back the trophy

PARRAMATTA board member and Eels legend Ray Price has demanded the NRL trophy be rescued from Melbourne's offices and immediately returned to Sydney.

Price also threw out a challenge to the rorting Storm: Bring the trophy to Parramatta Stadium and let's play for it this Friday night.

"Why is it still in Melbourne?" Price asked yesterday.

DA should play tapes of Mr Perpetual motion in his heyday - this guy would never give up and would put to shame some of the modern era players in terms of their competitiveness.

I'm hoping for a big game this Fri.......I think last weeks big loss will get the boys firing, regardless of all these rumors.....

Storm are due for a loss and Parra are due for a big win.....

Ray price would play on friday if we let him , hmm pricey and hindy oh yes .... As for the trophy , its a worthless piece of metal to the storm , and this year our team is different . I love the idea of the trophy but i long for a 50 point win by the eels ,
2001 was a team that scored the most points in history , and while we did loose the last game by minutes , i have waited for the eels to produce some huge wins .
Even a 40 point win , Cmon guys lets hurt the storm with the biggest win against them in history !!!!

I've still got Pricey's autobiography 'Perpetual Motion'. I love this freakin dude. GET IT OUT OF THERE!! Apparently the Storm cheats are still on the NRL website as 2009 premiers also! I have hated several clubs over the past 28 years of passionatly following rugby league and the eels (since age 10), but I vow to keep a flame of hatred burning for the Storm for all eternity. Well I will have to let it go eventually but you get my point. There is no lower place for a team in history. GO PRICEY!!!!

not only is the nrl still allowing an illegal team to field and take points away from legitimate teams every week but still havent even taken back the stripped trophy. Thumbs up NRL management ! :P
