  Hey peter, you forgot to mention the western suburbs magpies,illawarra steelers,glebe ,annandale,university etc etc.
  I wouldn't be sad to see manly, saints,storm,warriors,or the dogs kicked out to tell you the truth!
  
  The roosters should be called bondi roosters,bring back the bears as central coast bears,merge st.george back to be called illawarra dragons,bring back wests magpies,newtown jets and balmain tigers and the qlders can go back over the border and play in a qld comp.......YEAHHHHH!!!!!

  Yeah bring back University...these sides that are no longer with us are due to poor management and lack of funds, it's their own fault, and their supporters fault, so I don't agree that we should bring them back

  If we went back to just NSWRL, it would be as good as our state union comp, playing at stadiums such as Wenty Leagues, all the good players would go to ESL cause there would be no money and gAyFL would take over Sydney, I would rather the taliban take over Sydney than the gAyFL

  I think you are comparing a NSW comp with the current NSW cup...There is no reason why sydney based teams can't stay at there current stadiums and redfern,leichardt,win,henson park and campbelltown could all get a revamp.
  
  NSW based teams in the nrl all have a good following of supporters and just need to keep up the membership drives and other ideas to keep the $$$ coming in.
  
  But i am a realistic bloke and know that it will NEVER happen so i will keep dreaming...Hahahaha

    Yeah but the money is in the National comp, what I was suggesting is that if we went back to just a NSW based the money would leave the game, hence smaller grounds and all the good players follow the money

  North Sydney should stay dead, their 5 fans dont bring much to a national comp. The Central Coast might deserve a team but id rather see expansiin in Perth, Adelaide, NZ, PNG & the south Pacific to progress our game

  There are 2 open spots for new teams in the 2013 season and the Central Coast Bears is one of the strong contenders.
  
  Central Coast has a large area of uncontested people to gain support from, plus with all the support from old North Sydney supporters, personally I'm looking forward to it.
  
  Other teams that have put bids in for the 2013 season are: Central Queensland, Ipswich, Logan, South Australia, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Western Australia are the Australian clubs up for consideration.
  
  There is also overseas bids with 2 from New Zealand: Christchurch and Wellington, and alo Fiji and Papua New Guinea have released bids to join.
  
  Central Coast Bears and WA Reds are the most likely clubs to join in 2013.

  i never ever realized why the steelers merge massive junior base and as far as im concerned illawrra is the one of the biggest area,i didnt mention the merged clubs there still there technically .

  not saying we shouldn expand our comp,we need to,but it is good to see some of the mascot coming back fighting just like the rabbits were good to see back they should be there
