I have been watching Ferguson for a long time now, yes he does have his errors, but we are really missing his punch going forward starting out sets, the Dunster situation is not working out, he is getting bullied in most if not all tackles, young player potential but really needs to go back work on his defence and possibly get some size about him, my opinion is that we are a better side with Ferguson then without

Fergos reaction time to slow, to many errors, bad reads in defence. And sus under the highball. Maybe Waqa on the wing and Penisini in the centres.
That would be the better option Graham.
The Dunster experiment has failed and we need to move on from him.
What???!!! You're off your head BEM...
Yeah, he did get man-handled by the best defensive team in the comp a couple of times last night, but how many tries did we concede down his edge? He's holding up the right edge defence fine, just give him a bit more time to develop physically.
Not off my head clintorian at all.
Yes his defence is good but offers nothing in attack. We can't have a team of nothing but good defenders. We need some attacking weapons and Dunster doesn't fit that profile. There are changes that can be made to that side that will still defend as well but will be able to offer something in attack.
He missed 3 tackles and realistically the right edge didn't get tested. He did position himself well, but we need more than that from a FG winger.
Haze has been blooded now, he is available again if called upon, but he needs to go back for another season or two develop some pace and strength.
In a different style of a side he could go ok, but the reality is we have no creativeness in the centres to given him the opportunity of being a classy finisher..... he may well be one day. I would actually consider picking him if we are playing Souths where a defensive well positioned winger could work well for us.

would I be right in thinking the skinnier wingers similar to your Brett hodgeson Luke Burt body type can't survive in today's game due to power game and diff body types or not ? 🤔🤔
This is the only option I would do if Dunster's option fails. Fergo is long gone. I think Dunster does have the potential to be a permanent winger in the NRL because he reads defence well. He just needs to add on a few kilos in the off-season.
Sorry EA but wingers are match winners these days. Putting on a few kilo's is not going to get you there.
A good young winger should be "sniffing" out tries and reading the defence well, BEM is exactly right in what he is saying.
Fergs is not finished yet, horses for courses and finals football gives him a huge advantage over any alternative that we can come up with for the rest of the season.
Yep I could live with that...
What do you say about the experienced coach when he does something you don't agree with Grunts.
