BRETT TATE REQUIRES FULL KNEE RECONSTRUCTION

Australion centre  Brett Tate will require a full knee reconstruction. He sufferd the injury during the first half of the 4 nations final. Bad luck for the bloke and not so good for north queensland. What are the chances of cowboys releasing Tonga or Thurston now.

    IMO six players just played their last game for Australia. Tate, Tonga, Lote, Gidley, Petro ( did not play tonight ) and Lockyer. Time to look ahead these guys have been great but time has come to say goodbye. Very disappointed in tonights effort.

    Would the Kiwis have beaten us with Hayne, Thurston, Inglis, Jennings, Prince, Carney, just to name a few ( I am sure there are players I have missed )? I think not.

    How far forward was that last pass?

    I was so devestated and at the same time touched when I saw the video of Brent Tate in the sheds......one of the most heartbreaking and saddening things you will ever see in Rugby League. I hope his career isn't over.

    tatey is one of the good guys in our game. His career should have been over with that neck injury that he suffered. Sometimes the RL Gods are so cruel.
    Bad luck for the Cowboys too.

    I thought Tonga didnt do too much and generally reinforced my belief in him NOT being the savior to any team.
    Credit must go to the Kiwi forwards, they were mighty.

    It made no difference what happened to Tate . The Cowboys had already categorically stated Tonga wouldn't be released.
