Finally getting some recognition, he is still the brunt of NRL fans jokes when knocking Parra, saying as long as you Moses you will do nothing etc. Well i believe the only clubs atm that wouldn't take Moses are those who already have a halfback, he would be no.1 on the list of many halfbackless teams last year.

  • Moses has always had the ability , but the thing with him , and even in this article is that there's always a "but" .

"Moses is good , but ... he needs to run the ball more "

Moses is good , but ... he can get caught watching the game "

Hopefully if current form continues both he and Brown can get these " but's" out of their games and just be recognised for their consistency and talents .

  • On his current form I would rank him 2nd behind cleary.

  • Agree he always had the skill but for most part lacked maturity, but I would have him in forth best as Cleary, Hughes and Cherry Evans have all won a grand final and with the exception of Hughes have been the best for awhile constantly and Hughes has only been there for a little while and seems to of matured quicker than what Mosses has.

  • Moses needs to bring more consistency to his game, added with maturity. I hope this season he can do that.

    • Im not sure where he can be more consistent. I think he's been very consistent the last 3 seasons. The difference between his best and worst is much smaller than it used to be, and he never has bad games anymore.

  • In current form, DCE, Cleary, Moses make up Top 3.

Keary, Hynes, Hughes also great halfbacks.

    • On form I'd have 1) Moses 2) Hynes and 3) Cleary

  • I think there is some overrating of Jahrome Hughes. He's a good halfback, borderline very good, and given Melbourne's personnel, probably their ideal halfback, but I don't think he's top 3. I doubt he would excel at other clubs the way he has in Melbourne's system.

    • Yeah, this has crossed my mind too, Brett.

I wonder how he'd go at Titans, eg?

      • I've no doubt. 600k to win in Melbourne or 900k to lose in Auckland. I know what I'd choose.
