Reports Eels have signed Manly forward Brenton Lawrence for 2018..

He is 32 now. So will be 33 then. Not an inspiring signing

A prominent player from a well-to-do Sydney club has been caught on tape snorting cocaine at a well-frequented bar. A club powerbroker though reportedly purchased the tape. Funnily enough, the powerbroker has used the leverage to negotiate a downgraded contract.

Crownbet are reportedly being investigated by the NRL for some very dicey business with their player stat markets.

Marika Korobiete is expected to return to the NRL this season with Souths and Canberra the front-runners for his services.

Brenton Lawrence will be at Parramatta next season.

    Agree, not thrilled at all.

    If he is replacing someone like O'Brien and is on small contract then possibly OK for a back up but that's it.

    If right BA is just promoting Parra as a retirement home for washed up mainly Moanly players, who nearly always come to us carrying long time chronic injuries.
