Breakthrough player

It was this time last year that a player by the name of Manu Ma'u broke through from obscurity to being one of Parra's best attacking weapons. Early in the season he formed a lethal combination on the left edge with Tonga and the Semi trailer that resulted in creating plenty of opportunities for the men outside him and by having Semi racing to a quick lead in the season's try scoring tally. Part way through the season, he was swapped to the right edge to what I can only guess was a move to assist Sandow in defense. Over the coming weeks, Parra had a lot more attacking opportunities down the right edge which saw Semi's consistent try scoring dry up and had Ken Sio drawing level with Semi midway through the season.Another few players that broke through for Parramatta to prove themselves as consistent first grade players throughout 2014 were Kenny Edwards, Tepai Moeroa and Junior Paulo. Who is going to step up in 2015 to cement a permanent first grade spot?

  • Good choice, Manus going to have a great year.

My Tips an obvious choice in Tepai, the rest of the comps going to find out just how good he is this year.

  • Snake,

Your an excellent judge my friend. I am hoping the young bloke Moeroa goes as well as he is expected.  We need a dynamic young bloke that will sponge the experience and knowledge off the likes of Choc, Richie, and to a lesser extend Gower.   Reminds so much of a young Hindmarsh.   If he turns out to be as half as good we will be in good shape.

  • Would be nice to see Pauli Pauli reach he's potential just don't know if he's tough enough he seems to be a bit soft
  • Going to tip Halaufau Lavaka.
Heading to the Nines, training well, aiming high and seemingly highly rated by coaching staff, the only way is up for him.
