After just reading the article, he is stil only 23 years of age, something i defintielty didnt know and has represented his country. didnt watch the last world cup but apparently his form was strong. will also give us good versatility being able to play fullback as wel as centre and wing. my only concern is that if he is signed takarangi moves into the forwards and we all know how bad that experiment failed. Does laiin strengthen our side. lime to get your opinons.
I'd like to see Parry given a shot at right centre, DWZ is a good player when in form, but with Salmon and Parry waiting in the wings, not sure.
If DWZ was 30 I’d agree with you, but he’s only 23.
Think the taka to forwards experiment ran its course as an abject failure ...there’s no way any of the incumbents could justifiably be dropped to accomodate the shift for Taka to the forwards.
Hard to judge Takairangi's 'experiment' in the forwards when the entire team was shit that year.
Taka would be a solid backup option as a centre though
He’s world class, we’d be mad not to at least look at him
yes considering we have 700K in spare cap i think a reasonable offer of 400k would be great to get him here.
Perhaps the Eels management are playing games with Gutho’s management saying we have options, we are not desperate to sign you. Take our offer or piss off
Smart move. Finally Parramatta are taking control over these contract negotiations.
