Controversial ex-NRL star Jarryd Hayne and his former Eels teammate Nathan Brown were reportedly involved in an ugly incident outside a Parramatta hotel early on Sunday morning.

The Daily Telegraph reported the pair had a heated verbal exchange with a road worker who had made a disparaging comment to Hayne.

Hayne is out on bail and will face a third sexual assault trial after his conviction was quashed on appeal last month.

The former NFL player spent nine months behind bars after a jury found him guilty of sexually assaulting a woman on the night of the 2018 NRL Grand Final.

Hayne and Brown were on the footpath outside the Albion Hotel in Parramatta when the incident took place.

  • more info on tele article ... was a heated verbal exchange basically directed to Hayne and seems brown stood up for him .

Fuxk me drunk how that is news worthy is beyond me .

then media wonder why everyone thinks they trash and don't believe them

  • Haha try going on Twitter . They turned off the reply option ... guess they don't want responses to nothing incidents

  • This is not news, not even worthy bringing up to BA at the presser, Brown did nothing wrong

  • Agree Hayne is an easy target but the Council worker should be more concerned with doing his job rather then mouthing off and starting shit.

People will argue that Brown shouldn't have been out considering the rest of the team where playing today but that old argument has been done to death.

My main question is should this worker have mouthed off whilst on the job? leave it to after work mate.
I can see the arguments going like this.
Council worker: " Hey Hayne you should be in jail"

Hayne: "Why don't you just do you job"

Worker: " F you Hayne, hope you go back to jail"

    Blah, blah, blah

Juck these journos go looking for crap to write don't they, why is this in the news?

    • Lucky you said 12 ;)

  • Can anyone confirm if this was Sat night / Sun morning? Bit concerning if Brown was out with him the night before the game.

    • Even if it was Sunday night it is bad discipline. Brown seems to be out of favour with Authur and  there could be a good reason for it,

  • The more pertientent question for me is why was Nathan Brown playing reserve grade whilst JA played first grade?

I get why JA gets selected - he can come on cover the halves and DB can move into the backline or even to lock if need be.

Problem is, JA is not currently good enough to play first grade. I'm sure he will be at some point, but he is not at the moment.

    • Wasnt Nathan Brown out on the piss ?  Maybe his attitude behind the scenes is the answer to that question.

  • THE TELECRAP - BREAKING NEWS

A council worker called Jarryd Hayne a name so Nathan Brown called the council worker a different name. There is a possibility foul language was used but that has yet to be confirmed.

    More To Come.
