I sort of disagree with this article in the sense that they are right about the record and how it will look going out in the same fashion, however he is not under pressure in the slightest, simply because he made top 4. BA has given himself an extra week if he does not get it done tonight, if we get to say a prelim and win 1 from 3 in semis is that a failure? Well i mean sort of but it is an improvement based on the last 12 years where we have not made week 3.
Just the typical news that we see around this time of the year.

I don't like the guy but in my opinion he deserves to be safe if we make the grand final or even lose the preliminary final if it is an effort to be proud of.
If we lose the preliminary final in 2005 fashion then he should be shown the door.
If we bow out in week two again it proves nothing has changed for 5 years and that some sort of change is needed wether it be a total overhaul of assistants or a new head coach.
Tonight is our Grand Final, after two physically demanding matches we need a week off.
If we win tonight we are a very good chance of refreshing and going all the way.
We've certainly had our share of bad luck come Finals time. Win in week 1? "Ok cool, you guys are now off to Melbourne to play in sudden death." How many times has that happened?
Week 2. " We've known about this for a few months but since your Week 2 Final is today, we've decided to ban Jennings for steroids".
Meanwhile other sides, no better than us have been given rails runs to at least a Prelim. Look at the Sharks this year. They've already booked their Prelim Final by having the easiest Week 1 Final by far.
Having said all that, I feel we're in a good spot this year. Best we've had in a while.
How is a team given a rails run Muttman what are you talking about. The Sharks finished second mate. Mate I don't even know where you're coming from.lol
How? Apart from their easy draw (which is only known at the end of the season), they play the Cowboys at home. Good for them but that's the easiest game there is. Maybe Raiders might be easier. Meanwhile we go to Penrith. Happens every year.
Point 1 The eels have had the easiest draws for many years and still have done nothing in the finals.
Point 2 . If we aren't good enough to beat penrith we don't even deserve to be in the finals.
Maybe if we'd won those so called easy games against wests and the dogs we may have finished second or third. But we failed to
Put when Parramatta has easy draws its " their is no such thing as a easy draw "
We couldve and should've taken fate away from the footy gods and finished 1 or 2.
Essentially that's what it takes to pave your way to GF victory most years, we simply haven't been good enough for decades.
I agree regardless of making the top 4, you have to look at his record in it's totality.
If we back door again I honestly can't see how anyone can defend him and his poor semi finals record. It should alarm the club officials and the fans. Making the semis is all well and good but winning is what it's all about...
This is what I'm saying too
Been "robbed" by the Storm or "daylight robbery" against the Panthers are not facts! They are opinions.
