Brad Arthur , Coach of the Parramatta Eels , one day has an epiphany: Rugby League's conventional wisdom is all wrong. Faced with a tight budget, Arthur  must reinvent his team by outsmarting the richer ball clubs. Joining forces with ex NZ coach David Kidwell,  Arthur prepares to challenge old-school traditions. He recruits bargain-bin players whom the scouts have labeled as flawed, but have game-winning potential. Based on the book by Michael Hagan.

So who will the coach be looking to recruit. There's 10 spots available so surely we need some big guns. Or will it be more of the Moneyball system ?

  • Gold
  • Isaac luke is getting squeezed out of the warriors

He could rotate with mahoney who will play as our number 14

That could allow us to chop some more deadwood in the likes of kaysa, king and smith
    • Luke and Mahoney would make a formidable partnership. I agree kays and king are flawed

    • Sc-Avenger   Norman must be kept. He and Hayne are key.   Stick to the commits mate.

    • Assuming he meant - Comics, Avenger.
    • Hang on to young French and Jennings. The Plum Fairy should fark off back to America, not wanted. He’s deadwood. Blake Austin would be a waste of money imo.

"Hypothetical question. Say Lomax doesn't go to R360 would we have him back or is he gone forever despite his release saying can't go to league for 4 years "
