  • 10 roster spots, of which 7/8 will be filled internally through the existing playing group.

Please keep BA away from recruitment is all I ask.

    • Frank agree on the numbers from internally, I think a minimum of 7 from the off contract list will be signed and possibly 2-3 on contract being released.  With the club applying to the NRL to have insurance paid to Beau, and the aspect that we had one spot left in the 30 which has to be filled by 30June there are a few vagaries.

I would suggest BA has players in mind and the club knows who they are, and I doubt that he will be involved in the negotiations unless the players want to talk with him. The actual recruitment and signing though will be done by Gurr I would suggest, main negotiations with Sharp.

  • Pou take note, that number might blow out to 12+ i suspect

    • Stop being negative dude! Positive actions happening finally!!!
    • If we're going to sack blokes hopefully we won't be paying too much for them to play elsewhere. Getting rid of a $700k player and only freeing up $300k under the cap isn't very helpful unless he's a bad influence.

  • It's all well and good to have money to spend. But it's how you spend it that counts. No decent player will come to parra, and as Frank said 7/8 spots will be filled by the existing group.
I can see ba recruiting Eastwood, tolman and the morris boys.
    • Allowing such a piss poor bum of the coach Brad Arthur to be involved with recruitment is football suicide .

      • Hey Fong. Every coach on the Nrl would be recruiting the team they want. If Arthur coaches he will be recruiting. Let’s face it the recruitment manager just helps the coach get the team he wants

"Hypothetical question. Say Lomax doesn't go to R360 would we have him back or is he gone forever despite his release saying can't go to league for 4 years "
