Means SFA, as long as the team is solid and they ignore all the BS hype over the week. To me they should get out of Sydney and get up to Townsville. Stay out of it all and the talk. Even visit a croc farm! But no horse riding
It seems they are taking the opposite tack, staying in Sydney for as long as possible and flying up on game day. Sometimes hearing all the media shit can galvanise a team that knows it's shit.
That's a myth these days with modern sports technology , all theyre going to do is sweat all week and reduce their training abilities. Best off preparing here , flying in full of energy and controlling their hydration for 80 mins . These players are so super fit they can play in the heat for 80 minutes . Preparing in it for a week is a different story .
This approach is actually very smart , hiring their own plane is fucking fantastic too.

"If Ryles leaves in 2028 with a premiership then I frankly don't care.
But let's see anyway. If Ryles improves us again this year I'd go into contract talks with him next off season. "
"Ryles won't leave, he's been given everythig he needs for success. If we go deep into the finals this year I'm sure the club will lock him up long term."

I would have thought staying up there for a week before the game to get use to the heat would be a far better idea than flying up last minute.

Dito! Agree 100% Wiz
It takes more than a week to acclimatise
Mate it's going to be 21 degrees on game night not 30. Its 22 now here in Sydney
Yeah but it will be colder at night Chief here, 22 degress at night is still warm and saying it will be dry so barely any breeze so it will be warm.
Just have to see how we go.
