Brad Arthur is not a stupid man

I'm not saying he threw the game and didn't care, but considering Hayne was out and Parra were playing Penrith at their home and there are many rounds left he would not be too concerned so why should we.

  • Tonight's game is the reason I only go to home games at the moment.
Every away game I've been to in the last few years have turned out like that where we lack effort.
  • As I said in another post, at least tonight answered a few things.....hunt and Morgan are not the back ups we need.
Sefa is no hooker. We really need to toughen up.
All in all I actually believe BA will be happy to have these things sorted.
    • Yes Fathead but to be honest I didn't see Morgan do too much wrong. Hunt was terrible and will never play firsts at Parra again.
BA needs to make changes in the forwards. Tanginoa and Mossop in for Terepo and Pauli and when Edwards is ready he can take Paulo place. Defence has been concerning all year.
  • We have to be competitive with out Hayne, which tonight we weren't. If BA is a smart man how come he can not get the right players to play well with out Hayne and keep picking crap like Sefa. If he is the best to keep getting picked than our depth can not be that good or he is not that smart as every one keeps saying.

    • The coach can only do so much in preparing his team. I think Arthur would've had a game plan to suit his side without Hayne. It just looks like the players have little confidence in themselves when Hayne isn't there.

    • have you forgotten the 2 floggings Parra had with Hayne in the side.

The issue MORE than just Hayne missing and Parra play bad - we have proved that Parra CAN play just as bad with Hayne in the side - saying that - any team that is minus Hayne will NEVER be as good

Now that Parra has been comprehensibly FLOGGED 3 times (2 with Hayne) - we (fans) need to accept that there are 2 Parra's

Good Parra and Bad Parra - and the gap between the 2 "personalities: is deeply troubling

On field leadership or LACK of leadership is one of the culprits that Bad Parra suffers from

and without Hayne tonight - the unwillingness of Norman (in particular) to get involved and attempt to stamp some authority is of GREATER concern than the absence of Hayne

I really thought that after 10+ weeks that Norman would emerge as some type of playmaker - but he just simply does not have the footy iq, or determination to be a winner - there is NO DOUBT he has talent but has no brains or heart - he is a passenger with a pay check

I gave Sandow a pass tonight as he is always a worthy number 2 guy and NEVER a number 1 - but tonight Parra needed another Number 1 guy (instead of Hayne) to stand up - who else could it have been other than Norman ? Possibly Sefa

The point is that NEITHER Norman, Sefa and Sandow attempted to get Parra out of the hole

The the trouble is far DEEPER than just Hayne missing

Where does this BAD PARRA team mentality come from - especially since their twin GOOD PARRA ca be so amazing

As long as BAD PARRA is lurking about - expect more of the same in 2014 - more of the same - I mean, just when Parra get on a roll and the EXPECTATION of success is part of the equation - don't be surprised if BAD PARRA shows up again (unexpectedly)

  • Oh yes fathead Sefa is not a hooker nor is he a fg player.

    • No tactics no nothing, we can't win away from home. Blah blah blah. . Next week we are morals, the week after we need there team to be stacked with origin players to even be a hope........
  • Did u guys really expect Parra to play consistently well ever round this year?? We were tipped for the spoon again this year and we don't have a real good roster we just have a couple of stars and players who have played above expectations til now. Every now and then we will get flogged. As long as we keep winning in between floggings we can still have a real good year. Watch us beat the cowboys next week and all this negative chat will cease again. We still have a long way to go to have a team who can play well every week and any expectations other than what we have seen so far in 2014 are way to high and unfair.
  • It's a carry over from the last few seasons. We knew this turn around wasn't going to happen at the drop of a hat. The important thing now is we get our season back on track with a win over North Queensland.
