Ducks and weaves around the questions :)
When questioned about Kieran Foran, Arthur said there was nothing to tell.
“There is nothing to tell,” Arthur said.
“I don’t comment on recruitment unfortunately. It is just my policy”
“All our players are comfortable and know where they stand with me. I don’t talk about recruitment in terms of coming and going, and blokes in our club staying.”
“Once we manage to do what we need to do and develop our list and get a good list behind us, we are happy to share it with everyone.”
When continually pressed about Foran, Arthur said he does remain in contact with the Manly half.
“I haven’t said anything to Kieran [specifically about him agreeing to join the Eels]. We have had conversations but every coach would have conversations with him,” Arthur said
“I spoke to him after the game the other night about football.”
“I don’t comment on recruitment and that’s all there is to it.”

Love it. No bullshit kinda guy, won't even give the media an inch with the Foran circus. The fact he seems excited to give Wicks a run is good, if he wasn't ready like a lot of people keep commenting he wouldn't give him such a good wrap.
Also love that he isn't getting carried away with the 1st round win and basically none of it means crap until it becomes consistent.
straight as a gun barrel
Or Ian Thorpe.
Do not have an issue with anything he said; he and the press have jobs to do. BA is a man's man. Good stuff
Lol, the journo at the end :)
Forgot to mention the quote that BA gave Triple M Rush Hour yesterday:
"I won't count my chickens before they hatch" "If Kieran signs with Parra next week then I'll be the first to front the media"
So obviously there is a deal on the table....
Love BA, no bullsh!t. Doest just spit crap to sell himself or the team. Such a breath of fresh air, having a coach that cares more about the guys in his team and the club, than the media douche bags and using every available opportunity to big note himself.
