People can read body language, a change of tone in voice and even a change in preparation which all would signal over thinking situations or struggling with pressure of situations.
My guess is that Brads the one who doesn't handle the pressure and it flows onto the team and their performances in critical moments or big moments of matches are at fault because of added pressure from the above.

I hate it how people say hes done well making back to back play offs after a spoon.

I think you will find it was identified in the clubs review at the end of that year that he was lacking support from the club in a number of areas. We also lacked badly in training facilities that year and had ongoing dramas surrounding the management of teh football club with factions still causing trouble.
Front of house is now settled and we are trending in the right direction why wouldn't you be happy? Unless of course you are from one of those factions trying to cause unrest, but that wouldn't be you would it Scott Dregs?.
