  • Great interview. I feel a bit more confident about next year after hearing that.
    Thanks Osiriden.
    • Frank there's only one way to keep flogging a dead horse and that's to believe it's still alive.

BA didn't beat around the bush, I thought it was an honest assessment of where we are at.

The signing of Wicks, Champion and hopefully Watmough for next season combined with the return of Peats an Ma'u gives me some hope for next season.

  • Sounded like BA was a little cheeky with the Watmough response....

    • I think I was very disappointed in how we finished the season.

I fully agree that BA overall had a good year getting us away from the spoon to 10th on the ladder, but the way the team capitulated in the Knights game then fell apart against the Raiders with so much to play for, to me was very disappointing. To be honest, the boys looked awful until Hayne pressed the on button.

  • Great interview. Arthur is a straightshooter. Very well done by the radio hosts as well. Quite a good set of questions.

  • Well after flogging it for 28 years there ain't much left of the horse.
The bastard has copped more of a flogging than Jesus in Passion of the Christ and only has bone left.
  • Fantastic interview and a fantastic coach. Interesting when BA said in the last 7 rounds we only played at Pirtek once.
  • Interesting comment about playing at Pirtek. No question what BA wants.

    • He mentioned that it didn't help that we only played at home once in the last seven games.
  • Many thanks for providing the link, really appreciated the chance to have a listen. I have to fully agree that BA comes across as a fair dinkum bloke, very level headed, not up himself or full of bulls-hit.

Unlike BA, my honest impression of our 2015 player squad as it currently stands, is not very positive so I really hope that I'm wrong regarding my current outlook for 2015.

Needless to say, come the pre-season I'll be back on the Unicorn wagon hoping, delusionally dreaming & cheering that the boys r competitive & if the half full glass starts to look like its half empty again, then back to reality.
