All the comments and observations posted on this site are undoubtedly true.
1. Eels play the ball was much slower than Cronulla's,
2. Eels tackling techniques allowed Cronulla to get a quick play the ball and gain momentum.
3. Poor 5th tackle choices.
4. Standing back in defence
But this happened in the Newcastle game and that debacle aginst the Storm.
The Strom with Munster and co. went wild around the ruck. Why havn't they corrected this in the mean time?
Apart from the South's game, Brad Arthur, and it would appear the players as well, don't seem to be able to adjust their
tactics to stifle the opposition attack.

I don’t get why our play the ball isn’t talked about more. It’s legitimately making us lose game. Not once last night was Cronulla on the back foot from a fast play the ball but we were all night! It’s stunning reeds ability to play heads up footy and making us a too structured football team. It’s Unbelievable how much a slow play the ball can effect the game
I think you only have to look at the press conference. Something along the lines of tackle hard and run hard and see what happens. I think that pretty much sums it up that he has no idea how to fix it or even what to do. I have tried to like him but when do we say enough is enough. How much more time do we waste?
She'll be right mate! Welcome to the BA world of football. F..ck the detail. He loves this club, so do I, I just don't pretend to be a first grade coach.
