At least we enter a new season with a full time CEO. I hope he does well & this appointment will lift all involved with the club, & especially the eels team.

What had me more interested was that in years gone by, & during the pre emperor days, & then through the 80's there was a fellow named Eddie Boulos who was a dead set eels supporter, he stood for the board a couple of time & got some good numbers of support but not enough to get him elected however he remained an excellent supporter of the club. He was also listed as the owner of tyre & mechanical shop at either Merrylands or Guildford, can't remember the exact location, & he was a succesful businessman.
He also helped out every week at the training, at eels games & both gate & time keeper, pretty lowly jobs for a person deemed a succesful businessman, but he was eels through & through, he offered eels members discounts at his business, & that was before the big mega tyre houses that put many smaller bussinesses out on their necks. I also seemed to reccolect that he sponsored some sort of award back then as well.
So, the point of this is simple, if John Boulos is anywhere near close to Eddie in relationship & desire to see the eels survive, then he will do me & I for one wont be on any anti John Boulos campaiign, untill I see how he shapes up into the future.
