    I'll tell you a secret , I actually played first grade soccer in the Illawarra Premier League but shhhh . I was a sweeper . I grew up playing both at one stage or another but mostly soccer . Played it all my life but it bores the absaloute hell out of me to watch , go figure .
    
    Funnily enough as a younger bloke I played League for both my school and The South Coast along side Ben Hornby and played Soccer for my school and weekend along side Scott Chipperfield . As I got older I swayed towards soccer as the area I lived in we had only one League team in the Corrimal Cougars and a shitload of top line soccer teams . I was a better soccer player than I was a league player so I stuck with that path . There was / is actually pretty good drinking money to be made in the Illawarra soccer comp .
    
    Him making rep team is awesome bud , especially nowadays as the competition for spots would be much harder due to the games growth .
