By this time last year there were half a dozen or so players named as signing to Parramatta for this year. But this year there haven't been many, if any.
Who should we go after? I like the idea of adding size to the team, even to the backline. Hurrell would be a great addition to our side to replace the outgoing Tonga. But i feel we would have to offer him too much money to get him. If Williams really is on the outer at Eagles i like the idea of adding his experience. Or with bennett leaving knights i'm hearing some player may use a get out clause on their contract. If true i would even consider trying to sign Joseph Leilua.
If Sio goes to sharks then i vote adding John Folau to the first grade squad.
That's only the backs. We definitely need to add some size and mongrel to our forwards. Get rid of Allgood, Lussick, Ben Smith, Sef Paulo and let Moi Moi retire. Bring in wicks, hell go after one of the Burgess twins.
Any thoughts on who we should be going after and who we actually are going after?

I think we still have both Allgood & Lussick under contract for 2015.
Fui and Smith will retire, i would be moving heaven and earth to piss of Allgood and lussick who are absolute plodders. Throw in that Pommy git and we have plenty of cash for a couple of decent hardarsed forwards. Beau Scott would be perfect and a big metre eating prop.
Problem is Al, I think that they r both still contracted to 2015 & if the club paid out their contracts, then I think that the amounts involved would probably have Salary Cap implications.
LOL Wiz, remember when EGJ used to write 'run hard' on his wrist tape lol.
And that guy was on our board, i wonder if he wrote 'breathe'' on the other......
I agree with 33L514 and i would go after Watmough and beau Scott
Some of our edge forwards are players of the future in Pauli, Ma'u & Moeroa. We don't need too many edge forwards.
Matterson, Goodall, Davis & Aloiai whilst talented, need prolonged periods in the NSW Cup - they're not ready to be promoted into the first-grade side immediately nor at the start of next season.
