Matto didn't grab his chance, but RCG is made for Origin, probably even moreso than Paulo. Origin is all about relentlessly smashing up the middle and no one does it better than RCG - dropping him is a mistake.

As much as Jurbo is a plodder, he does seem to be allowed to lay in the ruck for ~10 minutes per tackle without the refs ever calling it so that will definitely help.

Absolutely lost the plot Freddy but will win game 2 with cotter out of the qld side.
Freddy shit the bed. The single biggest reason Qld sides have had it over NSW is a better kicking game most years since its inception .
I'm game one they had DCE And Hunt mainly who kicked us out of it and we had Cleary who got pestered all night.
A general play kicker from dummy half's a godsend in rep games and year after year this facet of the game gets glossed over by NSW.
The reason they killed us for 9 in a row was the kicking games of Smith , Cronk and Thurston.We had Pearce and Farrah Ffs.
These dipshits never learn. Guess what Qlds game plan will be all night because Luais long kicking games not up to rep standard . You have Burton there but that mucks around your attacking shape .
