Not pretty but no big deal.... Hyane was caught out a couple of times and was on this occasion.. will kill the opposition sooner or later but Hayne had a mixed nite
Early in that 1st half, dragons put up a huge bomb that came down on our line, it bounced dangerous for us, i can't believe again Hayne showed no urgency to defuse the bomb. Did he not learn from last years grand final travesty.............
I think hayne is still adjusting from wing to fullback , when that adjustment is complete and he has the fitness to play as a fullback he will improve further as a champion player.
didnt look that bad ... it looked to be just banter between the backs and that Grothe didnt have anybody to offload to
Jarryd cant be everywhere with him already playing the proverbial halfback.
there was some bum patting action there between Guru and Haynsey...Ooo yeah!
It looked pretty well smoothed out at the end. Grothe said his peace and Hayne took it on the chin. Guru was 100% right though, Mr Hayne can get quite lazy and his positional play at times is a bit out.
Fair enough grothe gave hayne a spray , but grothe has his own issue of running up too fast , getting caught out and has cost us many many tries and games !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was sitting right where it happened, it was Hayne who went off at grothe first from behind the posts, and im with hayne on that one, grothe showed no urgency to get back, he was up near half way just jogging back, and behind by 6 with 5 min to go, id think he would of been back waiting for the kick.
"The edge defence has been a problem for years and BA has no idea how to fix it. I can't think of anyone who would still be employed after failing for 11 years."

Hayne was rather lazy a few times tonight back there,
Not good enough in my opinion and is yet another example of the lack of urgency he shows in the backfield.
Luke Burt im sure would be on it???
