Guys, if you have a story like this you can write about something you've seen, especially if its a first-hand eye witness report, however unless you can provide proof please don't name names.
For example, Morgs82 you would have been quite safe to have said, you were in a pub in Grafton and a fringe Newcastle NRL forward was involved in a fight. You understand he's been charged with assault and that Channel Nine are interviewing the alleged victim tomorrow.
Knights prop Danny Wicks denies role in pub fight

NEWCASTLE Knights chief executive Steve Burraston is confident prop Danny Wicks was not involved in a fight at a Grafton hotel in which a man was allegedly king-hit, kicked and knocked unconscious.
Grafton police said yesterday they were investigating the assault of Wesley Fernando, 28, outside the Village Green Hotel on Friday night.
Mr Fernando told The Herald from his hospital bed that he had made a statement to police accusing Wicks of assaulting him following an altercation with other men outside the pub.
He said he had gone to the aid of a friend, who had been ejected because he was drunk, when he was knocked to the ground after being punched from behind.
Mr Fernando said witnesses told him he was kicked in the head when he was unconscious.
Wicks has confirmed he was drinking at the pub with a group of family members and friends, including his younger brother, Brett, who was getting married the next day, and their father, Gary.
The 23-year-old said there was an incident about 15 metres away and denied any involvement.
He said his brother went to the aid of a friend who was struck by a chair "and I just walked a couple of metres to pull Brett away, because he was getting married the next day".
"I was pulling my brother out of a totally different incident," Wicks said.
"The bloke taken away in an ambulance, the bloke who went to hospital, that was a different incident. I wasn't involved in that.
"I haven't heard anything from the police. Everyone who was there, the [Village Green] publican, the police, security, they all know it wasn't me."
Sergeant Adam Brown, of Grafton police, said Danny Wicks had not been mentioned in an initial police report, however, officers had wanted to speak with Brett Wicks.
Sergeant Brown said it was unclear if any action would be taken against anyone.
Hotel manager Mark Knott said he was "99.999 per cent sure" Danny Wicks was not involved in the assault on Mr Fernando.
Burraston said the club was investigating to determine if Wicks was involved.
"As we understand it, Danny's brother was involved in an incident and Danny dragged his brother away from that incident, dragged him out of the hotel, and took him home, but we would like to make sure that story is correct," he said.
