Blayke Brailey and Brenko Lee

If Api falls through surely we could give this kid an offer he cannot refuse, especially with all the sharks drama going on and with Jayden in the 9 for the foreseeable future I dont see Blayke getting much opportunity. Brenko Lee I'll admit is a risk BIG time, but he wouldnt command but $$ and his form for the dogs and even a couple games for Titans showed us he has ability. Both of these kids would come cheap and wouldnt hurt our roster at all, would bring more competition for spots.

    • Agree, Give our juniors a go. The other mans grass always looks greener.

  • I give Blayke a go if cheap

  • Brenko isn't whats needed at the Eels (plenty of outside backs already) so no and if we were to go after Blayke, then we would be running with two young inexperienced rakes. What happens to Schnieder? Neither are whats needed so regardless of price it only ties up cap space that could likely be better used elsewhere.

Just because someone is available and possibly going cheap, doesn't mean they should be picked up. If they are in an area we need to boost then sure, otherwise lets save it for someone good.

  • I have never rated Brenko Lee.  He is a fringe first grader at best.

  • Brenko Lee is poo, and is Brayley really any better than Mahoney???  And from all reports Schieder is killing it at Pre season training.

Not bad for an 18 yr old coming off a Shoulder reco.

LB replied to Frankie Fong's discussion AN ALTERNATIVE TO GALVIN
"Exactly. Let the kid figure out NRL first and become a seasoned first grader. Why complicate it further just to try and strengthen a position that is quite frankly the least of our worries. A fullback is more important than a Five-Eighth.
